The collection contains copies of letters, 1926-1939, from George Fraser to Joseph Gable, another pioneer rhododendron hybridizer of Stewartstown, Pa. The collection also contains "George Fraser -- a biography," 1993, and "George Fraser Plantsman," 1988, both by Bill Dale, Frances Gundry and Dr. Stuart Holland; a copy of an article "The Cornwall--Pennsylvania--British Columbia Connection," n.d., by Bill Dale, and some miscellaneous correspondence of Gable and Clive L. Justice, President of the British Columbia Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society re Fraser. The collections also contains papers concerning a cemmemorative plaque in Ucluelet and a commemorative stone in British Columbia honoring Fraser.
